Annual Rotary Club Craft Fair

September 26th – October 24th, 2019

It is about to be that time again when the big tent goes up at Patriot Park! The Annual Rotary Club Craft Fair features more than 75 different artisan booths that feature handmade items that are unique and make for the perfect gifts. This is a great chance for vacationers to Pigeon Forge to buy some early holiday gifts. Parking is free at Patriot Park and all of the money donated for admission goes to local charities. 

Smoky Mountain Homecoming

October 4th – 6th, 2019

Locals and vacationers to the Smoky Mountains both love to attend this Robert A. Tino event each year. Robert A. Tino’s art gallery and surrounding farm area is transformed during this fun fall festival. You can expect to enjoy a variety of local arts and crafts. Craftsmen will be on hand demonstrating as well. This is an event that gives us a glimpse into our areas heritage. There are also plenty of activities for the little ones to enjoy, hayrides and wonderful southern food. 

Great Smoky Mountains Railroad

October 4th – 27th, 2019

There is nothing like traveling through The Great Smoky Mountains National Park on a train while taking in the vibrant colors and crisp air. This fall, in Bryson City NC, you can experience a themed train ride. PEANUTS™ Great Pumpkin Patch Express. This is a family friendly activity that involves guests getting to dress up as their favorite character, finding the perfect pumpkin in the pumpkin patch and listening to a narration of It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

History & Haunts in Downtown Sevierville

Saturdays in October

Downtown Sevierville is being revitalized right now and part of that revitalization is bringing some new fun activities to the city. Offering a variety of family fun activities, ranging from walking tours, hay rides and pumpkin patches to dog costume contests. There will be something new every Saturday evening throughout October. They even have a Thriller flash mob event happening on October 19th!

Chalkfest at The Island

October 5th, 2019

This will be the third annual Chalkfest at The Island. This unique event showcases professional chalk artists, as well as those new to the chalk art world. The theme for this year is food. Smoky Mountain heritage will be represented through the art as it has to do with recipes and traditions passed down from generation to generation. This event is free!

Wears Valley Fall Festival

October 18th – 20th, 2019

Enjoy a day out with the whole family at this mountain festival. Crafters of many trades, entertainers, incredible food and a plethora of activities draw in people from all over the area each October. Trust us when we say, you do not want to miss this fall festival if you are in the area during that time. 

The Legend of Hallow Mountain at Anakeesta

September 13th – November 2nd, 2019

If you are a fan of Halloween, then Hallow Mountain is going to be right up your alley. Anakeesta in Downtown Galtinburg is setting the bar high with this event. During the daytime, families can enjoy kid-friendly Halloween fun in different scare zones. Crafts, games, movies, activities, sweet treats and “not so spooky” characters will be on the mountain to entertain the kids. Not travelling with young children? Be sure to check out Hallow Mountain in the evening, once the sun goes down. Hallow Mountain will then take on a different theme and will cater to those that like to be spooked and frightened. Adults can enjoy a variety of scare zones, take in a cult classic movie outdoors and much more. This event will be included with your admission to Anakeesta. 

Oktoberfest at Ober Gatlinburg

September 27th – November 3rd, 2019

This year marks the tenth anniversary of this loved event in Gatlinburg. This festival celebrates some of the traditions of the original festival that occurs in Munich, Germany. Fun for all ages. Enjoy Bavarian inspired food including schnitzel and bratwurst during this highlighted event at Ober Gatlinburg.
